A short stretch of Chester Avenue could become a no-parking zone under a proposal going before the Saratoga City Council on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

The proposed restriction covers both sides of the road for about 175 feet, from Arcadia Palms Drive to the creek just south of the intersection. The council has not yet approved the change.

The item is on the consent calendar for the 7 p.m. regular session at Saratoga Civic Theater, 13777 Fruitvale Ave. Consent items can be approved together unless pulled for separate discussion. Residents can speak on the proposal or ask that it be discussed separately.

The official Oct. 7 agenda includes the proposed resolution, a map of the affected segment and remote participation details.
