A First Half That Decided It

The Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Lakers 124-98 in a preseason game at Chase Center in San Francisco on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The Warriors scored 45 points in the first quarter to the Lakers' 31, opening a 14-point lead that the visitors never closed.

Golden State added 36 more points in the second quarter while holding Los Angeles to 22, and led 81-53 at halftime.

Second Half

The Lakers outscored the Warriors 22-15 in the third quarter, cutting the margin to 96-75 entering the fourth. Golden State won the final quarter 28-23 to close out the 26-point win.

Key Performances

Yaxel Lendeborg led all scorers with 17 points and added nine rebounds for the Warriors. Stephen Curry scored 16 points in 14 minutes, Brandin Podziemski also had 16, and Draymond Green handed out eight assists.

For the Lakers, Sandro Mamukelashvili led the team with 15 points, Jaden Hardy added 13 and Quentin Grimes scored 12. Bronny James had five assists, and Jarred Vanderbilt grabbed five rebounds.

Both teams are 1-1 in the preseason.
