Henderson Dominates on the Mound

Early Scoring and Dodgers Response
The Brewers took an early lead in the second inning when Luis Lara grounded into a fielder's choice to shortstop. This play scored Luis Contreras and advanced Ornelas to third base. Brewers Extend Lead
Milwaukee built a two-run cushion in the fifth inning. Nico Hoerner singled to right field, allowing Luis Garcia to score from second base. The Brewers added another run in the seventh inning when Hoerner doubled to center field, scoring Garcia again. Shortly after, Vaughn singled to left field, allowing Hoerner to cross the plate and extend the lead to four runs. The Brewers continued their offensive pressure in the ninth inning.
