Henderson Dominates on the Mound

Logan Henderson delivered a strong performance for the visiting Milwaukee Brewers, pitching seven innings to secure a 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Sunday. The right-hander allowed just three hits and one earned run while striking out six batters. Henderson took the loss for the Dodgers, dropping his record to 7-7, while the Brewers improved to 77-48. The Dodgers finished with a 74-51 record.

Early Scoring and Dodgers Response

The Brewers took an early lead in the second inning when Luis Lara grounded into a fielder's choice to shortstop. This play scored Luis Contreras and advanced Ornelas to third base. The Dodgers answered in the fourth inning when Max Muncy hit a home run to right field, traveling 370 feet, to tie the game at one run apiece. The home team’s offense remained limited, with only two runs scored throughout the contest.

Brewers Extend Lead

Milwaukee built a two-run cushion in the fifth inning. Nico Hoerner singled to right field, allowing Luis Garcia to score from second base. The Brewers added another run in the seventh inning when Hoerner doubled to center field, scoring Garcia again. Shortly after, Vaughn singled to left field, allowing Hoerner to cross the plate and extend the lead to four runs. The Brewers continued their offensive pressure in the ninth inning.

Late-Inning Action

In the final frame, the Brewers scored two more runs. Hamilton grounded into a fielder's choice to second base, resulting in errors that allowed Garcia and Lara to score. Hamilton reached second base, and Hoerner was safe at third on the error. The Dodgers managed one final run in the ninth inning when Pages hit a home run to left field, traveling 382 feet. This brought the final score to 6-2 in favor of the Brewers. Attendance at the venue was 45,828.
