Cal Fire confirmed that both aviation units and ground crews are currently operating at the scene. The fire is situated near the intersection of Alamden Road and Mountain Drive. Officials estimate the total area affected by the flames to be roughly 10 acres.

Authorities described the fire’s rate of spread as moderate. While the situation is being monitored closely, no evacuation orders have been issued for nearby residents at this time.
