Police log: $900 in unattended belongings taken on Montalvo Road, sheds burglarized

Saratoga's latest police log includes about $900 in belongings taken after they were left unattended, a burglary of several sheds behind a business and an identity theft case involving airline points, The Mercury News reported.

The largest reported loss came Oct. 3 on Montalvo Road, in the 15000 block. The victim left some items unattended and found them gone on returning. Their value was put at about $900.

Overnight from 11:59 p.m. Sept. 28 to 12:14 a.m. Sept. 29, someone drove behind a business in the 12000 block of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and broke into several sheds. The value of what was taken is not known.

On Sept. 28, a resident reported that someone had used his personal information to get into his airline account and take his points.

In a separate case, residents in the 18000 block of Vessing Road reported that an unknown person had kept calling and emailing them from Aug. 31 through Oct. 4.
