Saratoga has moved the Planning Commission hearing for a proposed housing development at 14076 Quito Road to Wednesday, Oct. 14, according to the city’s project page.

The city calendar lists that evening’s commission meeting for 7 p.m. at the Civic Theater, Council Chambers. Residents planning to attend should check the posted agenda closer to the meeting for the latest arrangements and the order of items.

The proposal calls for 69 homes on a vacant 3.85-acre site, including 55 attached homes and 14 accessory dwelling units designated for affordable housing. The hearing notice is a review step, not an announcement that construction is approved.

Residents can view the site plan on the city’s project page or inspect the complete plans at the Community Development Department at City Hall, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue. The page lists project planner Christopher Riordan at criordan@saratoga.ca.us or 408-868-1235 for questions.
