Saratoga residents have two opportunities in October to hear from candidates for the Saratoga Union School District board, including an in-person forum this Sunday.

The district’s four Parent Teacher Associations will host the Oct. 4 forum from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Redwood Middle School, 13925 Fruitvale Ave. Parents and community members are welcome, according to the event notice posted on the district’s community bulletin page.

Residents can submit questions through the form linked in that notice. The moderator will choose which questions to use during the forum.

A second forum, organized by the League of Women Voters of Southwest Santa Clara Valley, will take place online Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The district’s bulletin links to the Zoom registration page.

Three school-board seats are on the November ballot, according to the district. The forums are organized by the PTAs and the League; the district shares their notices as a community service.

For the question-submission form, event flyer and online registration link, visit the district’s community events page.
