Three San Francisco 49ers players are being monitored ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Denver Broncos, with the team still not providing a decision on their availability.
General manager John Lynch discussed the situations Thursday, according to Bleacher Report. Mike Evans is dealing with a rib injury and is trying to play. Lynch said Evans wants to be in the lineup and plans to make an effort to do so.
Nick Bosa is recovering from a calf injury. Lynch described Bosa as doing well, while noting that calf injuries can be difficult to assess. Trent Williams has a shoulder injury and could take part in Thursday’s practice. No additional information was provided about whether Evans, Bosa or Williams will play Sunday.
