George Kittle was listed as a limited participant in the San Francisco 49ers' Wednesday practice, according to cbssports.com, as he continues his recovery from a torn right Achilles.
Kittle opened the season in San Francisco's Week 1 victory over the Rams in Melbourne, Australia. He was on the field for 30 of the 49ers' 65 offensive plays, catching two of five targets for 12 yards.
The tight end had previously been restricted to a set number of repetitions the week before returning to a game. That appearance came roughly nine months after he sustained the injury during a wild-card win at Philadelphia.
The report said San Francisco may keep managing his workload early in the season, but it did not indicate that his ability to play in games was in doubt.
