The Los Angeles Chargers have released their first injury report for the 2026 season as they prepare for their opening game against the Arizona Cardinals. Two players were marked as Did Not Participate: cornerback Deane Leonard, who is dealing with an abdomen issue, and edge rusher Khalil Mack, who was resting for non-injury related reasons.

Additionally, several players participated in practice with limitations. Safety RJ Mickens was noted with an ankle issue, running back Keaton Mitchell had a hamstring concern, wide receiver Brenen Thompson was listed with a hip problem, and edge rusher Tuli Tuipulotu also had a hip issue.

The return of Mitchell as a limited participant is considered a positive sign after he missed earlier practices due to an undisclosed problem.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh mentioned that offensive tackle Rashawn Slater, who has been managing a knee issue, is anticipated to play in the upcoming game against the Cardinals. No further information regarding the players' conditions was disclosed.
