Five Chargers absences headline first Week 2 injury report

The Chargers reported five players did not practice before Sunday’s game against the Raiders at SoFi Stadium.

Five Los Angeles Chargers players were held out of practice in the team’s first Week 2 injury report before Sunday’s matchup with the Raiders at SoFi Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. Pacific time.

Ladd McConkey was sidelined with a rib injury. Elijah Molden was out because of a hamstring issue, while Teair Tart and Trey Pipkins III were held out with ankle and knee injuries. Khalil Mack was also listed as not practicing for rest.

Deane Leonard had limited participation with an abdomen injury, and Dalvin Tomlinson was limited because of a hamstring issue. Akheem Mesidor and Derius Davis took part fully despite calf injuries. For the Raiders, Brock Bowers missed practice with a knee injury, and Darien Porter was absent with a foot injury.

Running back Ashton Jeanty fully participated while listed with an ankle injury. The Chargers are favored in the Week 2 betting line, though the report did not include game-status designations for any of the listed players.
