Stanford hosts NC State Friday after Ford’s four-touchdown performance

Stanford’s next home football game falls on Friday, Oct. 23, when NC State visits Stanford Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. PDT kickoff on ESPN.

For Saratoga fans planning to attend or watch the regional matchup, it is the Cardinal’s fifth home game of the season. Stanford is 3–1 at home after its 34–7 victory over Elon on Oct. 17.

Running back Micah Ford scored four rushing touchdowns against Elon, tying Stanford’s single-game record. He ran for 179 yards, added 52 receiving yards and earned ACC Running Back of the Week honors.

The Cardinal’s 222 rushing yards and 515 total yards against Elon were both season highs. Friday gives Stanford its next opportunity to build on that offensive performance against an ACC opponent.
