The Los Angeles Angels defeated the New York Yankees 10-1 on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. The home team capitalized on offensive production to secure a decisive victory, improving their record to 53-85. The Yankees, who were visiting from New York, dropped the contest to fall to 78-60.

Scoring Breakdown

The Angels took an early lead in the third inning when Grissom singled to center field, allowing Heineman to score and moving Meckler to third base. Walbert Ureña earned the win for the Angels, pitching seven innings. He allowed five hits and one earned run while walking no batters and striking out eight hitters. Tayler Saucedo pitched one inning without allowing hits or earned runs, striking out no batters.

Blake Weiman pitched one inning, allowing one hit and no earned runs while striking out two batters.
