Angels Offense Takes Control

Rangers Pitching Line Collapses

The Rangers’ pitching efforts were marked by early trouble. Jacob deGrom took the loss after allowing six hits and two earned runs in just two innings. Jordan Montgomery struggled through two more frames, giving up six hits and four earned runs. The relief corps attempted to stabilize the game but could not prevent further damage.

Peyton Gray, Ben Peoples, Cole Winn, and Tyler Alexander combined for three innings but were unable to shut down the Angels' bats completely. The final line showed Texas surrendering seven runs with no outs recorded in the scoring column across the entire game.

Urena Dominates for Los Angeles

For the Angels, Walbert Urena was the standout performer. He earned the win by pitching six innings of scoreless baseball, allowing only two hits while striking out five batters. His performance set the tone for the night.

Jose Fermin, Tayler Saucedo, and Sammy Peralta each pitched one inning of relief work, maintaining the shutout. The Angels improved their record to 48-74, while the Rangers fell to 60-62. The game drew an attendance of 24,959 spectators to Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
