The crash claimed the lives of three individuals: the 21-year-old driver from Yuba City, a 27-year-old male passenger from Salem, Oregon, and a 17-year-old male passenger from San Jose.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the deceased. While the preliminary investigation confirms the vehicle left the roadway, the specific cause of the loss of control remains under investigation.
