San Jose police responded to significant disturbances at a gathering for a Mexico World Cup watch party, resulting in two stabbings and numerous arrests. The incident occurred in San Jose, which is located approximately 9 miles northeast of Saratoga.

According to a police statement, the majority of attendees behaved responsibly during the event. However, authorities noted that disorderly and dangerous conduct increased as the night progressed. Officers were called to address multiple physical fights and the discharge of fireworks in densely populated areas.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that two separate altercations led to stabbing incidents. The victims sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police did not provide specific details regarding the identities of the victims or the number of individuals arrested.

The situation escalated further when a crowd surrounded an ambulance and several individuals climbed onto the vehicle. This action interfered with emergency responders. Authorities reported that members of the crowd threw bottles at officers who were attempting to restore order.

Police have not yet released the total number of arrests or the specific charges filed against those detained. It is not yet clear if any additional injuries were reported beyond the two stabbings. The investigation into the disturbances is ongoing.
