A man was reportedly engaged in the preparation of illegal substances at the Northside Lot on Los Gatos Saratoga Road during the week of Sept. 13 to 19, according to a recent police blotter compiled by Los Gatan.
The report details numerous incidents across the city over seven days. On Sept. 18, a caller observed a clear plastic tube containing liquid at the Northside Lot location and alleged that a man was cooking narcotics nearby. The blotter does not specify whether arrests were made in connection with this observation.
Property crimes were frequent during the period. Three bicycles valued at approximately $2,000 were taken from a carport at Wedgewood Manor on Lora Drive on Sept. 13. Another bicycle was stolen from Bay Club Courtside on Winchester Boulevard, though the theft occurred on Sept. 13 and was reported later on Sept. 14.
Two additional mountain bikes were removed from a garage on Willow Hill Court on Sept. 15.
Theft of personal items also occurred. A wallet was reportedly stolen by a man at Trader Joes on Los Gatos Boulevard on Sept. 17. On the same day, a firearm was reported missing from a residence on Greendale Drive. Earlier in the week, on Sept. 18, an individual rummaged through an unlocked vehicle on Lasuen Court, taking a purse and a work laptop.
Violent incidents were also documented. On Sept. 13, a caller stated they were punched and beaten to the floor by someone who had kicked them out of their apartment at Aventino Apartments on Winchester Circle. On Sept. 15, a dog sitter allegedly stole cash from a resident on De Soto Drive.
Other reported events included damaged fences at stables near Via Caballero and Via Encantada on Sept. 13, a loud party on Camino Del Cerro that evening, and a vehicle accident involving a bicycle on Los Gatos Boulevard on Sept. 14 with unknown injuries.
