A female motorcyclist died on Saturday following a collision that occurred two days earlier at an intersection in San Jose. The crash was reported to the San Jose Police Department around 7:30 p.m. on September 10 at the corner of Saratoga Avenue and Latimer Avenue.
According to police, the woman was riding a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on Saratoga Avenue when she struck a white 2021 Audi Q5. The car was making a left turn onto Latimer Avenue from southbound Saratoga at the time of the impact.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the rider to a hospital with serious injuries. She remained under treatment at the facility until her death on Saturday. Authorities have not released the victim's name, citing the need to notify her family first.
