Saratoga Union School District students returned Thursday to campuses that spent the summer under construction, as the district completed a round of improvements under its five-year facilities plan, the Mercury News reported.
The plan's projects are estimated at $1.5 million.
Among the largest efforts was field work at Argonaut Elementary, Saratoga Elementary and Redwood Middle School, where the district leveled out gopher holes, then resodded and reseeded the grass ahead of fall play.
At Argonaut Elementary, the interior areas and hallways of four classroom wings were also refreshed.
