Devers Delivers Key Home Run
Rafael Devers provided the decisive blow for the San Francisco Giants, hitting a home run to right center in the fifth inning. The ball traveled 400 feet, extending the home team's lead to 3-0. This was the second of two home runs hit by the Giants in the contest, as Stewart also connected for a solo shot to right in the ninth inning.

The Giants took an early lead in the first inning. Cavanaugh singled to center, scoring Devers and Gilbert. This play accounted for two of the three total runs San Francisco would record. The Reds managed one run in the ninth inning, courtesy of Stewart's home run.
