The San Francisco Giants delivered a complete shutout performance against the Seattle Mariners, securing a 7-0 victory at T-Mobile Park on Saturday. The offensive explosion was anchored by a historic swing from Adames, who launched a grand slam in the seventh inning. This was the seventh grand slam of his career, providing the decisive run total that broke the game open.
Before that moment, the Giants had already established control through a two-run homer by Eldridge in the fifth and a single run in the sixth.
Pitching Dominance
San Francisco’s starting pitcher, Landen Roupp, set the tone for the night. Roupp worked seven innings, allowing only two hits and no earned runs while striking out two batters. His performance earned him the win, improving his record to 7-8.
He was supported by a flawless relief effort from Jason Foley, who pitched one scoreless inning with one strikeout, and Caleb Kilian, who also retired the side in order with one strikeout in the ninth.
