Authorities allege that York arranged a meeting through a prostitution website, offering $140 for the encounter with someone who was actually an undercover officer. Initially charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, York later reached a plea agreement. The charge of engaging in prostitution was changed to disorderly conduct, and he entered a no contest plea to both charges.
This resulted in a fine of $1,150 and a one-day jail sentence. The NFL has stated it will review the situation under its personal conduct policy, but further details about potential disciplinary actions remain unclear.
