The Miami Dolphins have reached a trade deal with the Los Angeles Rams, acquiring running back Jarquez Hunter in return for wide receiver Tutu Atwell, pending physicals.
Jarquez Hunter, drafted in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, has appeared in five games during his rookie season with the Rams. He had a successful college career at Auburn, where he played in 49 games, starting 27, and recorded 3,371 rushing yards on 539 carries, scoring 25 touchdowns. Additionally, he made 68 catches for 558 yards and four touchdowns.
Tutu Atwell, who joined the Dolphins on March 13, 2026, has participated in 64 games with 27 starts over five seasons with the Rams. He tallied 105 receptions totaling 1,535 yards and five touchdowns, along with 16 rushing attempts for 72 yards and one touchdown.
Atwell was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft following a standout college career at Louisville, where he amassed 139 receptions for 2,303 yards and 21 touchdowns in 34 games.
