The Rams are expected to be without two players for their Week 4 road game against Philadelphia on Sunday. Cornerback Jaylen Watson dislocated his shoulder in the second quarter of the loss to Denver, while tight end Terrance Ferguson suffered a medial ankle sprain in the first quarter, coach Sean McVay said Monday.
Watson was examined in the medical tent before medical personnel transported him to the locker room by cart. He recorded two tackles, including a tackle for loss, and broke up two passes before leaving. McVay said Watson will probably miss the game, though the Rams have not discussed putting him on injured reserve.
Ferguson briefly returned before exiting for good after catching a 9-yard pass in the second quarter. McVay said Ferguson is also likely to miss the Philadelphia game. Colby Parkinson did not aggravate the knee injury listed on the Week 3 injury report, but he sustained an AC joint shoulder sprain, returned in the first quarter and has no confirmed Week 4 status.
Wide receiver Puka Nacua has missed two games with groin soreness, rather than the hip issue listed publicly. McVay said the Rams are hopeful Nacua can play Sunday if his recovery continues as expected. TheRams.com reported the updates Sept. 28.
