The Los Angeles Rams have injuries involving three players after their loss to the Denver Broncos. Tight end Terrance Ferguson has a medial ankle sprain and is expected to sit out the Rams’ next game. Cornerback Jaylen Watson dislocated his shoulder while making a defensive play, and coach Sean McVay said Watson will probably miss the next game but will not go on injured reserve.
Tight end Colby Parkinson sustained an AC sprain in his leg, and the Rams have not determined whether he will be available. McVay said Watson has dislocated the shoulder before. Ferguson appeared to aggravate an ankle issue during the game.
The Rams used Emmanuel Forbes Jr. in place of Watson. Without Parkinson and Ferguson, Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen are expected to handle most of the tight-end work. Higbee had eight catches for 62 yards and a touchdown after taking on a larger role.
Los Angeles is 1-2 and next plays Philadelphia, followed by Buffalo, Arizona and Las Vegas. No roster move had been announced, though the Rams could consider adding a tight end or cornerback.
