Webb earned his third straight All-Star nod, selected by MLB, while Arraez was chosen through the player vote. Webb has been one of baseball's hottest pitchers over his last seven starts, and Arraez continues to rank among the league leaders in batting average, providing a steady presence at the top of the Giants' lineup.
For the Athletics, Langeliers won the fan vote to start behind the plate, topping Toronto's Alejandro Kirk 65 percent to 35 percent in Phase 2. He leads all AL catchers with 20 home runs and carries a .264 batting average with an .822 OPS in his fifth major league campaign.
Kurtz, the 2025 AL Rookie of the Year, will start at first base after Guerrero Jr. declined his starting spot. The 23-year-old entered Saturday leading the majors in both RBIs, with 66, and walks, with 76, while his .424 on-base percentage and .949 OPS ranked second in the American League.
The All-Star Game is set for July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, marking the 96th edition of the Midsummer Classic. Both Kurtz and Langeliers will be making their first All-Star appearances, while Arraez and Webb bring veteran experience to the festivities.
