Jed York, the owner of the San Francisco 49ers, faced legal consequences after being arrested in East Palestine, Ohio. He pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, resulting in a one-day jail sentence, which he has already served. Additionally, he was fined $1,150.

Initially charged with engaging in prostitution, the charges were later adjusted to disorderly conduct as part of a plea agreement. As a condition of this agreement, $160 seized during the arrest will be donated to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, and York has completed an online course.

York, 46, has been involved with the 49ers since 2008 and became the principal owner in 2024. He has overseen significant developments, including the construction of Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, which has hosted major events like two Super Bowls. The 49ers and the NFL did not provide comments regarding the incident.
