At a recent training camp for the Los Angeles Chargers, head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel were seen wearing shirts that proclaimed "EVERYONE WATCHES WOMEN'S SPORTS." This initiative was part of the Chargers' annual event, "Women in Sports Day: A Chargers Social Club Event," which honors the impact of women in athletics.

The shirts are from Togethxr, which introduced the slogan in December 2023. The movement has gained momentum, with Nielsen reporting that 28.3 billion minutes of women's sports were viewed in the first half of 2026, reflecting an 18% increase from the prior year. Furthermore, interest in women's sports has surged, with 52% of the U.S. population expressing interest, while fewer individuals reported no interest.

The Chargers are set to begin their 2026 NFL season against the Arizona Cardinals at SoFi Stadium on September 13. Harbaugh and McDaniel's actions at training camp have reinforced their standing as influential figures in the NFL without the need for extensive verbal statements.
